Engr. REY DENNIS L. GILBAS – General Manager C of the Bulan Water Distric participates on the Joint Committee Hearing of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan and the Committee on Senior Citizen and Energy with the Water and Electric Utility Agencies of Sorsogon at the Provincial Capitol, Sorsogon City on May 9. 2018 (Wednesday) 1:00 in the afternoon.

The Sangguniang Panlalawigan  of Sorsogon urges the cooperation the Water and Electricity Utilities of the Province to support the Proposal for An Ordinance granting Additional 5% to the Existing 5% as provided for under Section POF RA 9994 on the previledge of Senior Citizen on Monthly Consumption of Water and Electricity within the Province of Sorsogon.

The Bulan Water District is very much willing to execute this program to provide assistance to our Old Folks on their basic needs.

Our Grand Parents are the foundation of what we call development of today’s generation, they have render their service when they were able to do so, it’s time to strengthen our social responsibility to offer them more opportunity to lessen their expenses.

Suggestions were made from the other branches of the government and the water and energy utilities to further improve the proposed Ordinance.

The Meeting was adjourned with a positive response from the Water and Energy Utilities in adopting such proposal.
