The Bulan Water District celebrates it’s 43rd Anniversary on May 9, 2018 by upholding the endeavor to “Save Water, Plant Trees”

A Simple Tree Planting Activity  was conducted by the BWD Employees together with the On-the-Job (OJT) Students from Solis Institute of Technology. The Nature activity aims to develop Water Source by Planting Trees to provide more support on the soil at the Mariboc Spring (Water Source), Brgy. Dolos, Bulan, Sorsogon.
Trees serve as natural sponges, collecting and filtering rainfall and releasing it slowly into streams and rivers, and are the most effective land cover for maintenance of water quality. The ability of forests to aid in the filtration of water doesn’t only provide benefits to our health and the health of an ecosystem.

Celebrating 43 Years of Water Service to concessionaires of Bulan by giving back what has been taken. As a Human benefiting from the Earth’s treasure we should be aware that we are here not only to consume but also to protect and conserve.

Let us be the Hero and Save our H2O!!!

Save Water, Plant Trees!
